JLR provides civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and environmental engineering services, as well as architecture and planning, for mining clients, including but not limited to:

• Underground infrastructure design – Including hoisting plants, ventilation, dewatering, backfill, maintenance facilities, and material handling infrastructure.

• Surface facilities – Design of buildings and infrastructure such as administration, security, shops, warehouses, camp facilities, substations, dust collection systems, equipment foundations, compressor houses, and mine dry facilities.

• Power and energy systems – Energy system modelling and design, grounding modelling design and testing, power system protection and control, protective device evaluations, coordination studies, power flow studies, and fault investigations.

• Process controls and automation – Instrumentation, control systems (PLC/DCS/HMI), and commissioning support.

• Civil infrastructure – Water and wastewater treatment, haul road and site layout design, surface water management, and government consultation.
